Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Fri. 3/9 - Fri. 3/16

(R) 1 Hr. 55 Min. (Digital) In English (Comedy, Drama

Starring Academy award winner for Best Actress (Frances McDormand) and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Sam Rockwell), Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, is a darkly comic drama from Academy Award winner Martin McDonagh (In Bruges). After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter's murder case, Mildred Hayes (Frances McDormand) makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at William Willoughby (Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson), the town's revered chief of police. When his second-in-command Officer Dixon (Sam Rockwell), an immature mother's boy with a penchant for violence, gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing's law enforcement is only exacerbated.
“A towering achievement that will no doubt put in an impressive showing come Oscar nomination time.” ~ New York Post
“One of those truly rare films that feels both profound and grounded; inspirational without ever manipulatively trying to be so.” ~

A Fantastic Woman

Fri. 3/16 - Thurs. 3/22

(R) 1 Hr. 44 min. (Digital) In Spanish with English subtitles (Drama)

The 2018 Oscar winner for Best Foreign Language Film, this unconventional Chilean drama  follows a young trans woman named Marina and her much older lover Orlando. After Orlando falls ill, Marina is quickly disowned by Orlando’s surviving family members. Being a strong, complex and forthright woman,  Marina struggles to fight the same forces she’s spent her lifetime fighting as she bridges the gap between ignorance and understanding.
“Beyond the looking and seeing, this extraordinary film wants us to feel the coherence of Marina’s life. She is, she insists with beautiful passion, flesh and blood, like everyone else.“ -- Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal
