Call Me By Your Name, the new film by Luca Guadagnino, This sensual, powerfully affecting and transcendent tale of first love is based on the acclaimed novel by André Aciman. It's the summer of 1983 in the north of Italy, and Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet), a precocious 17- year-old American-Italian, spends his days in his family's 17th century villa transcribing and playing classical music, reading, and flirting with his friend Marzia (Esther Garrel). Elio enjoys a close relationship with his father (Michael Stuhlbarg), an eminent professor specializing in Greco-Roman culture, and his mother Annella (Amira Casar), a translator. One day, Oliver (Armie Hammer), a charming American scholar working on his doctorate, arrives as the annual summer intern tasked with helping Elio's father. Amid the sun-drenched splendor of the setting, Elio and Oliver discover the heady beauty of awakening desire over the course of a summer that will alter their lives forever. The film has scored six Spirit Award nominations, and Chalamet and Hammer are Golden Globe and SAG nominees.

Oscar Best Picture nominee! Lead Actress nominee (Streep)!

Steven Spielberg directs and Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks star in this thrilling drama about the unlikely partnership between The Washington Post's Katharine Graham (Streep), the first female publisher of a major American newspaper, and editor Ben Bradlee (Hanks), as they race to catch up with The New York Times to expose a massive cover-up of government secrets that spanned three decades and four U.S. Presidents. The two must overcome their differences as they risk their careers -- and their very freedom -- to help bring long-buried truths to light. The Post is a Golden Globe nominee for Best Motion Picture. Steven Spielberg's exhilarating drama is a ticktock thriller about the freedom of the press, the White House's war on that constitutional right and the woman who defended freedom.” -- Manohla Dargis, The NYTimes

The Disaster Artist

Fri. 2/9 - Thurs. 2/15

(R) 1 Hr. 44 Min. (Digital) In English (Comedy)

James Franco transforms the tragicomic true-story of aspiring filmmaker and infamous Hollywood outsider Tommy Wiseau—an artist whose passion was as sincere as his methods were questionable—into a celebration of friendship, artistic expression, and dreams pursued against insurmountable odds. Based on Greg Sestero’s best-selling tell-all about the making of Tommy's cult-classic disasterpiece The Room (“The Greatest Bad Movie Ever Made”),  The Disaster Artist is a hilarious and welcome reminder that there is more than one way to become a legend—and no limit to what you can achieve when you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. For his role as Wiseau, Franco won a “Best Actor” Golden Globe and was nominated for  Outstanding Performance at the SAG Awards.
“James Franco's The Disaster Artist is funny and somewhat depressing, one of those haha movies that make you wonder if its laughs are really on us.” -- Manohla Dargis, The NYTimes
